Models. However, the variety of technologies as well as the different needs of students, educational centers and companies has resulted in different digitized education models. These are the variants.

E-learning. Electronic Learning is the best known of them all. Also known as remote training or virtual learning, it is the digital evolution of distance learning. It is characterized by the fact that each student sets their own pace, it allows the delocalization of knowledge and uses its multiplatform character to make use of audiovisual materials that improve training. In addition, it allows the recording of all the activity carried out by the student: access, time spent, number of interactions, learning progression, etc.

M-learning. Mobile Learning involves the use of mobile devices as a learning tool. For some experts, it represents a new step in the development of e-learning, since the use of mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) further increases the learner’s autonomy. At a time when more than 90% of Internet access is done from these devices, adapting learning to them is essential.

B-learning. The last type is Blended Learning. A fusion between traditional face-to-face training and the use of ITs in education and training. For many, it is the option that most consolidates learning since it mixes all the virtues of face-to-face (group feeling, ease of doubt clarification, involvement) with those of e-learning (autonomy or breaking physical barriers).
